Assiniboine Park Zoo Winter

Assiniboine Park Zoo, established in 1904 at the West end of Assiniboine Park, offers numerous venues of exhibits, particularly the arctic polar bear genre! Hudson the Polar Bear, Polar Playground, Tundra Grill, Arctic Treasures gift shop, Journey to Churchill, and International Polar Bear Conservation Centre (IPBCC) are some exciting exhibits to visit.

As well, the Kinsmen Discovery Centre inside the zoo used to be the home of Winnie the Bear statue, which has been relocated to Nature Playground west of Assiniboine Park Pavilion for easier public access without paying admissions fees to the zoo.
