Grande Prairie Muskoseepi Park offers many winter activities, such as horse-drawn sleigh rides, downhill toboggan, Old-Fashioned Chrsitmas Party, First Footing Celebration on New Year’s Eve, etc. Once the pond is frozen enough to be used as a skating rink, Muskoseepi Park Pavilion also offers free public outdoor skating with music. Outdoor ice skating is popular, especially on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Eve.
