The HSBC Celebration of Light Festival is an international fireworks competition that takes place around BC Day long weekend each year at Vancouver’s English Bay.

The theme is based on “Rainbow”. Indeed, the fireworks showcases how well Team Canada can display rainbow with fireworks, along with some special effects such as “heart” sign, “star in a circle”, and “@” symbol.
July 25 South Africa Fireworks sponsored by The Keg Steakhouse & Bar
There was thunder storm coming at that night, so the lightning added some special effect to the firework display. The fireworks was orchestrated well with the symphony music—waxed and waned leading to final climax.

Aug 01 China Fireworks sponsored by Concord Pacific
The fireworks was awesome, synchronized with the music. Truly a symphony of fire! The fireworks displayed various magnificent shapes, including that famous Smiley. 
The show concluded with Kung Fu Panda music and gigantic firework explosion. Truly breath-taking.
