Grande Prairie Fireworks

Grande Prairie Fireworks

Canada Day Celebration Fireworks takes off on June 30 midnight each year in Grande Prairie Muskoseepi Park. Depending on where you live, the fireworks may take place on June 30 or July 1.

Below are some fireworks photos that I took on Canada Day this year, shooting from Grande Prairie Tourism Centre 2000. I edit them into postcard format for year 2010 where Arctic Winter Games are to be held in Grande Prairie. :)

Feel free to attach them in your email as greeting cards.

This is my first time shooting fireworks in Grande Prairie. I was hoping the fireworks would be held somewhere near the lake in Muskoseepi Park, so that I could get some reflection of the display onto the lake surface. It was disapponting to find out the fireworks was nowhere near the water. :( I’m still yet to find out the exact location of the fireworks because it seemed pretty distant from the park.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to take photos in such a direction that Centre 2000 and the fireworks will appear together. :|

If you know the exact location of fireworks, please let me know.
