Did God create evil?
830 Views · November 19th, 2006Did God create everything that exists? Does evil exist? Did God create evil?
A University professor at a well known institution of higher learning challenged his students with this question. “Did God create everything that exists?”
A student bravely replied, “Yes he did!”
“God created everything?” The professor asked.
“Yes, sir, he certainly did,” the student replied.
The professor answered, “If God created everything; then God created evil. And, since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are, then we can assume God is evil.” The student became quiet and did not respond to the professor’s hypothetical definition. The professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said, “May I ask you a question, professor?”

Mustard Seed Service Project - McKernan Baptist College & Career
927 Views · November 19th, 2006On November 17 and 18, McKernan Baptist C&C Ministry organized a service project for Mustard Seed Society in Downtown Edmonton. We played games and chit chat with the community members, washed dishes, cleaned & set up chairs and tables, watched that crazy hockey game Edmonton Oilers vs Detroit Red Wings ending with 7 almost-heart-attack shootouts….and, of course, finished up our most anticipated event of the night….making popcorns. Pop…pop……POP!

Games in the Dark - McKernan Baptist College & Career
636 Views · November 12th, 2006The objective of this game was to kill two gargoyles with flashlights, but not so fast. The flashlights were disassembled into pieces and scattered in places throughout the church. Even worse, the main switchboard was destroyed by the gargoyles. With no light in the church, two teams of “brave”
C&Cers were dispatched in a hope to gather the pieces together and bring the light back on. Watch out for the gargoyles, though. If you were touched by them, you became stone-dead! ![]()
