Microsoft Headquarter is located in one of the Seattle suburbs, Redmond, King County, Washington. It’s about 16 miles (26 km) east of Seattle. Besides Microsoft, Redmond is also home to Nintendo of America. The area is mostly Microsoft campus.
Microsoft Headquarter has a visitor center that offers a brief history of the company and its founders as well as exhibits of the latest products on the market (eg, Surface tablets, Windows Phone, Xbox, Kinect, Halo, Skype, etc.). Next to the visitor center is a gift shop full of Microsoft souvenirs.
Sometimes the visitor center is closed for private functions, so contact them ahead to avoid disappointment.
