Muskoseepi Park is the biggest regional park in the city of Grande Prairie. It was designated as Centennial Park in 1967 to celebrate the 100th birthday of Canada since confederation. However, local residents refer it as Muskoseepi Park and very rarely as Centennial Park. As such, the city decided to remove the Centennial Park name in 2013.
The park is home to Grande Prairie Pioneer Musuem and Heritage Village and is a popular park for outdoor activities year round (running, biking, skateboarding, ice skating, cross country skiing, tobogganning). It can be a great venue for wedding / engagement photography, portrait shots, and family group pictures.
