Muttart Conservatory, designed by famous Canadian architect Peter Hemingway, is one of the most recognizable architectures in City of Edmonton for its distinctive glass pyramids. This botanical garden—home to thousands of species of plants— is located in the North Saskatchewan River Valley, across from Downtown Edmonton. There are four pyramids, each with a different climbate: arid, tropical, temperate, as well as a unique theme in the fourth pyramid that features different biomes several times per year, creatively arranged by conservatory staff.
