Oakridge Shopping Mall Vancouver BC Canada
These pictures were taken on Dec 18, 2005—the second day after I went back home this Christmas holiday. These pictures show Oakridge Shopping Mall located at 41st Avenue and Cambie Street in Vancouver. The mall was decorated with Christams ornaments everywhere; eg, Christmas tree, reindeer, etc.
I took these pictures when I went to visit an old-time UBC friend and we decided to go to Oakridge Mall for some chatting.
There were lots of people inside the mall. To give you an idea of how busy the mall is, the Starbucks inside the mall always have people lining up for coffee. Non-stop! One after another. It was very busy and crazy. Having lived in Edmonton for 2.5 years now, I wasn’t used to so many people. In Edmonton, most of the malls, except for West Edmonton Mall, usually have very few people. In Vancouver, a regular mall such as Oakridge Mall and Richmond Centre are often crowded with shoppers. It’s like people everywhere. If you aren’t careful, you’ll bump into people. ![]()
