Well about a month ago me and my friend got our nose peircings together. Hers was infected almost immediatly, mine has just recently started to be. So yea I figure that almost everyone who gets a piercing experiences this...

But Its like that red pimple thing that most of yall have talked about. Im not about to take it out after that money spent and the pain I went through so I looked it up and I found to soak it in sea salt and water. So far I've done it twice... Last night I only did it for like five minutes and it IMMEDIATLY appeared less inflamed and the bump went down. but this morning it was back, so I did it again, and away it went. So I figure I should maybe do it like twice a day?!?!
I guess until I cant take it anymore....But it does work atleast temporarily!!!!!

I'm 18 and I have my nose pierced as well, and there is a little red bump next to it. So far washing it with a saline solution has seemed to do some damage control.
However, on another topic, I'm disapointed in some of the kids under 18 representing the youth as ignorant. Learn how to spell some words, and if you can't even spell pierced, you shouldn't be getting anything done. Also if you're 13-15 you should just wait to get it done. You're still young and might not want it after a while. If you've waited and you still want it, but are still underage, go watch a professional do it, order the correct needles, and get a friend to help. I know from experience, trying it yourself isnt as rewarding as just getting it done.

Tiffany, i have my tongue done too. i have had mine for about 2 years. Eat a ton of ice to help the swelling and do NOT take the ring out. that will make it worse. get some crest pro health and rinse after you eat.. everytime.it will get better. Good luck

i have had many piercings and the nose one was by far the most painful. after getting it done, i wouldnt reccomend it to anyone. i recently got the stud changed to a smaller one and a lump showed up beside it today. i have called a couple places and they both said the same thing... its scar tissue and if u soak it in the hottest water u can stand, the fluid will come out and it will heal.

to all u kids trying to get peirced without parents knowing... u are fools. dont hide it. if they dont want u to get peirced, obey their rules. trust me, time will fly by. u will be 18 before u know it and a lot more wiser then.
