:(( I just cannot seem to find any answers. I am a disabled veteran and as such my care is through the Veterans Administration Medical Center(s). I do have arthritis, osteoperosis, ddd, and other linked problems. I was placed on fosomax because I am post menopausal and have the above problems. It really did not take too long for me to have a great deal of the NOT YET publicized symptoms. Aprox 3 months. As I read the information it was like hearing a ticker going "ding" ding" ding". I stopped taking the drug after calling for permission/advice on doing so. It has now been a year and this issue has not been addressed with any satisfaction on my part. Unfortunately discontinuing the drug did little more than slow what seems to be a possible permanent problem. There are visable "weirdies" in my mouth now. Bruising and or discoloration, Extremely sore and tender spots that show to be from White on the outer and Red on the inner. I am looking for pictures. What does the mouth's inside look like normally? I do have a potential for stress induced herpes, if that can be on the interior what would it look like? Due to poor dental hygeine as a child and several jaw affecting injuries, I have no teeth. What does a normal healthy mouth with no teeth look like? What does the bone structure in x-ray likely portray? What are some early visable symptoms and any other available information? I cannot afford to go anywhere else, and feel as though if I do not have a hand in understanding the disease/disorder I am not as well informed as necessary, this will be a situation disregarded until too late in the game.

So, there ya go, I am tossing the ball and asking someone else to toss it back with an answer or suggestion for research. Help me please. Thank you.
