Downtown High Level, Alberta, Canada - pub life
On Saturday, May 27, 2006, the german students (Thomas & Susi), Claire & I decided to tour the town ourselves after Pat’s introduction yesterday. I mean, why not? It is the only weekend for Claire and me at High Level. We’d better use it “wisely.” We walked to Downtown High Level in the afternoon and went to pubs at night. That night was the most unforgettable memory for us four. See pix below and you’ll know why…

A coffee shop in Downtown High Level. I ordered an ice cappuccino. Cost me $4.25. Well, everything is a little more expensive in High Level, since most of the foods are transported from out of the town. The cappuccino was so thick that the cup could be inverted!!! 
After shopping in Downtown High Level, we went back home and returned to our routines. For Claire, making phone calls is certainly her favourite. For Susi, nothing is better than hugging a bottle of beer and watching her favourite romatic TV shows. For Thomas & me, playing computer games is the best pastime. Thomas, you scheisse arschkrampe, dare to compete with me for the pinball game. Fortunately, the “Smartfoods” in my hands gave me some power. Hehee…
Everyone drank a bottle of beer before we headed out to pubs tonight. That served as our shooters. 
We went to Flamingo Pub first. We were given free shooters (bottom left picture). How nice!
Then we went to Stardust Pub. More beer…more beer…and countng… 
On the dance floor of Stardust.
Sam looked drunk. First stuck out his tongue. Second, slept in the pub (?).
That night we decided to walk home. After about 1 min of walking, we saw an RCMP police car driving slowly from behind toward us and asked, “Kids, do you need a ride home?” Sure, free ride. Why not? Did we look really that drunk that night? Anyway the police officers gave us a free ride home. How nice! People in High Level are awesome.
