On Tuesday, May 30, 2006, we were once again heading to La Crete. And so, we had to get up earlier than usual since the trip takes about 1 hour from High Level to La Crete. On the way, Susi, Thomas, and Claire fell asleep as usual. And me…being awake…taking pictures of their sleeping. Heheee…. Thomas and Susi are the dentistry students from Dresden University in Germany.

May 30 was Sam’s birthday, and somehow everyone knew about it! Even the German exchange students (Susi & Thomas) knew about it. That night, Dr. McNab took us to La Crete Country Grill and treated us for dinner. Sweet.

Here came Sam’s birthday cake—a chocolate pie. It was a surprise to me. All of a sudden, a La Crete girl walked to me and gave me a chocolate pie, and everyone started singing the birthday song to me. Oh…gees…my face must have flushed red at that moment. It was a happy birthday for me, especially it was in La Crete. Thank you, Dr. McNab.

After the birthday party, we went grocery shopping at Super Foods.

And…of course…Thomas, the Geil Arschkrampe, spotted his favourite stuff. Certainly, as we could see, it was bigger and longer than the last time.
