Bird Flu. Avian Flu in Asia

My goodness. I think I’ve been at school too much. Didn’t know the seriousness of Bird Flu in Asia until reading an online news just now. The flu is spreading in many asian countries, including Japan. :o China is affected by the flu, but I’m not sure if Taiwan is also affected. :-? Hopefully not.

Tamiflu, an antiviral developed by the Swiss pharmaceutical giant Roche, is available currently. I’m not sure if that vaccine is specific to bird flu. It doesn’t look like it’s the case. Whoever comes up a new effective antiviral will probably be rich, eh? :)
