At MIT’s Media Lab, researchers are developing fashion accessories on which patterns and designs can change according to the wearer’s whim, and fashion prints can be shared virally via wireless communication.

Digital images transferred to clothing.*** *** ***
The idea is for OLED-integrated clothing to display digital images and designs, updating whenever the wearer desires. A T-shirt could be solid blue one day and striped the next, says project director Judith Donath. These digital images could then be transmitted wirelessly to clothing worn by other people, thereby creating a sort of “viral fashion.”

While the idea of OLED-integrated clothing is not new — the military has been researching adaptive camouflage for years — the MIT approach to fashion and viral propagation is innovative.

it not really so hard.
First, choose communication protocol. for example: RF or Bluetooth.
Second, Define software process.
OLED like that might be 1.2″ ~ 1.5″
the factory price is smiler to TFT-LCD in same size.
Actually might be more cheaper, because OLED is without back-light module.
