Bao Xishun - World Tallest Man - Gets Married
The world tallest man finally found a girlfriend and got married a few days ago. 
How tall is his girlfriend?
Chinaenws, Hohhot, March 28 - Bao Xishun (é²å–œé¡º), the naturally-grown tallest man in the world, finally registered for marriage in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia with Xia Shujuan, his girlfriend, on March 26, 2007.
Bao was born in Inner Mongolia in 1951. Currently, he is 2.36 m tall, and was entered the Guinness Books of Records as the naturally-grown tallest man in the world in 2005. However, he had been too tall to find a marriage partner.
In the 1970s, Bao used to be a basketball player of the Shenyang Military Area Command. Being very tall, Bao has to order clothes of extra large size, and the rooms in his house all have 5.7-m clearance above the floor. Of course his bed is special, too, about 2.6 m long.
Xia, now his wife, is only 28 years old and 1.68 m tall. She works in a shopping mall in Chifeng.
They met on February 24, and fell in love at first sight.

After a global search for a suitable bride, herdsman Bao Xishun ended up marrying a saleswoman from his home city of Chifeng in northern China.
Mr Bao, who stands at 2.36m (7ft 8.95in) tall, tied the knot with Xia Shujian, 29, several days ago.
The 54-year-old gained fame last year when he saved two dolphins by pulling dangerous plastic from their stomachs.
He used his long arms to remove shards that the animals had swallowed at an aquarium in Fushun, north-east China.
