AUDITION - scary movie for Halloween
I read a movie review on Top 10 Scary Movies for Halloween Night, and saw this one with a scary rating of 10! 
This movie is called “Audition”, made in Japan. I was curious and decided to watch it a bit. OMG, it’s so spooky. I don’t know how many episodes there are, but I had to stop at episode 5!!! Soooo scary.

The splatter: When a lonely widower hopes to find a new wife by holding auditions for a non-existent movie, one gorgeous, young girl with a ballet background catches his eye. Unfortunately, little Ms. Tutu turns out to be more interested in brutal torture than romance. While the film starts slowly, it’s a prime example of what makes Asian horror films so successful: instead of well-lit monsters chasing teenagers in white tank-tops, they use actors who look like real people, gritty locations that you couldn’t dream up in your darkest nightmare and shoot it all in a way that makes it feel like it’s really happening. The last scene in this flick is one of the most shocking, disturbing and profoundly upsetting of all horror time. Watch it alone. I dare you.
Nightmare factor: Ten. You’re not going to sleep after watching this. Not ever again.
