Cyril Takayama (セロ = Cyril and 高山 = Takayama) is an American born in 1975 to French-Japanese parents (father, Japan; mother, France). He speaks English as well as Japanese. Not sure if he can speak French. It all began at the 10th year of age when he started playing magic. At the age of 12, he became a junior member at Magic Castle academy at Hollywood, Los Angeles. At 19, he was awarded the first rank at Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques (International Federation of Magic Societies) (FISM) Conference held in 横浜市（よこはまし） in year 1994. His magic is very well known, especially his burger magics that captures the audience eyes.

This is so depressing. Raining all week long. Want to go out and visit places, but it’s raining. So inconvenient.

I checked my final exam grade for Implant course today. It’s been released. So fast! The fastest among all the courses taken this term. Surprisingly, I got 97%. I can’t believe it. Happy for sure. It was a 2 hour exam, but I wrote it for about 65 minutes and then left. Still I got 97%.

This time, Japanese magician master Cyril Takayama went to a restaurant and performed “dematerialization” trick where he pushed a bottle of salt dispenser through the glass table from top to the underside of the table. It was so amazing, especially that the dispenser was so huge; yet, no one could detect how he did the trick. Later he asked two of the audience performing magic with him where a coin was pushed and stuck into the glass panel of the glass table. The coin was covered and touched by the audience’s hands at all time while Cyril was performing the magic. Still the audience couldn’t figure out how the coin got stuck inside the glass!

Yesterday the weather was sunny, and today was rainy. The forecast said the next few days are going to be rainy as well. Originally I wanted to go to UBC, but then I cancelled the idea because of the rain.

I went to Oakridge Mall yesterday with a long time friend of mine. There were so many people inside the mall, compared to Edmonton City Centre Mall. I’m not used to so many people anymore. We noticed that there are three Starbucks coffee shops in the region. Can you believe that? That’s crazy. Starbucks everywhere.
