Pyramid Lake is kidney-shaped lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. It lies at the foot of Pyramid Mountain, accessed by the Pyramid Road. This popular lake offers great chances to see the wildlife of the Canadian Rockies and amazing sights of Pyramid Mountain and Pyramid Island. Fly fishing, picnicking, boating and hiking are extremely popular in summer season; rental facilities are available for horseback riding, row boat/canoe/paddle boat/kayak, windsurfing and sailing. In winter, cross-country skiing and ice skating on Pyramid Lake leave many visitors memorable and sensational experiences in this breathtaking winter wonderland. Seasonal accommodation and dining are available in Coast Pyramid Lake Resort from April to October. The lake is within the World’s Largest Dark Sky Preserve and is a popular location for Milky Way viewing at night.
