St. Boniface Ice Tower

I saw this ice tower by accident while visiting Fort Gibralter Museum of Festival du Voyageur in St. Boniface, Winnipeg. While the museum was closed during Christmas holidays, the ice tower full of numerous giant icicles caught my attention. I’m not sure what it is for, but my speculation is for ice climbing. Anyone know?!?! ò.ó
