Sun Peaks Resort of Southern Interior BC (Thompson Okanagan Region) is well known for its winter downhill skiing in Kamloops area, drawing thousands of skiiers during its peak winter season. However, not many visitors know there is an amazing waterfalls hidden in a secluded, moss-covered hiking trail nearby the resort. Of course, the waterfalls is only accessible in the summer which is the off-peak season in Sun Peaks. Hikers can hike all the way to the base of the waterfalls and stand in front of it. That’s pretty cool! As a secluded trail, the waterfalls is a popular place for yoga and meditation. With its short hiking distance 500 meters, it can be a great location for wedding photography! Exact location of Sun Peaks Waterfalls hiking trailhead is indicated by Green Arrow on the following map (click EXTERNAL LINK below to view map). There isn’t any road sign or parking lot for this trail. The trail gate is indicated by a low metal fence. Park your car anywhere on the roadside near this gate. Hike about 500m to the falls.
