I visited Rogers Pass in the end of May 2011. There was lots of snow that year; in some sections of Glacier National Park, you could see the glacier sliding down the hill and lying next to the highway!!!
I didn’t stay too long in Rogers Pass. That year Rogers Pass Discovery Centre was under renovation, and the Visitor Information Centre was temporarily relocated to Glacier Park Lodge. There are many hiking trails and tourist attractions around Rogers Pass (see below more info).
May 30, 2011: At the summit of Rogers Pass, the Memory Garden and Summit Monument tell the story of the triumphs and tragedies behind Canada first trans-continental railway and highway.
