Valleyview—a small town located at the bifurcation of Highway 43 and 49—launched its longest Canada Day Fireworks display in year 2007 as part of its 50th Anniversary Celebration.
At that time, I just moved there for two weeks and didn’t know anyone. Nevertheless, I’ve toured by foot the most part of the town and already figured out the coolest, awesomest spot for fireworks photo-shooting.
Oh yeah, I didn’t have a car back then; go figure how I ended up in Valleyview from Edmonton.
Canada Day Fireworks at Valleyview Alberta
July 1st, 2007 The new fancy Valleyview sign was erected in 2007 spring for its 50th Anniversary Celebration.
I didn’t get many nice fireworks photos that night, becasue there were lots of mosquitos due to lack of breeze. Furthermore, I didn’t have a tripod. Seeing a BIG mosquito landing on my hand while trying to hold camera still was very distracting in fear of its imminent bite!
