Vancouver doesn’t have New Year’s Eve Fireworks; however, it has fireworks during July long weekend at Vancouver Convention Centre Coal Harbour for Canada Day and during August long weekend at English Bay for Celebration of Lights.
Vancouver Canada Place at Coal Harbour (aka Pan Pacific Hotel, Vancouver Convention Centre) is a central stage for various family fun events on July 1: outdoor live music and entertainment, art gallery and history exhibits, 2010 Olympic Winter Games heritage, evening parade, and fireworks. Free admissions on all activities.
The fireworks kick off at 10:30pm at Burrard Inlet of Coal Harbour and last for about 30min. This year, there is only one heart shape fireworks as well as a letter A. I didn’t captured those two on photos. Even if I did, they won’t look exactly like a heart or letter A, since the photos have longer exposure.
