The Festival du Voyageur (literally translated as Festival of the Traveller) is an annual 10-day winter festival that takes place at the heart of Winnipeg’s French Quarter, St. Boniface, every February. The festival celebrates Canada’s fur-trading past and also showcases French-Canadian heritage and culture through arts and crafts, traditional cuisine, live musical entertainment, jigging and fiddling contests, magnificent ice sculpture exhibits, and numerous outdoor activities for the entire family. In addition to being Western Canada’s largest winter festival, Festival du Voyageur is also “The World’s Largest Kitchen Party”!
Voyageur Boutique is located on 233 Provencher Blvd of Downtown St. Boniface, next to St. Boniface City Hall and Tourist Information Centre. The store offers a wide variety of Festival du Voyageur souvenirs. See map below for driving direction.
